Taman Suropati

When was the last time that you went to a park? When people hear the name 'Jakarta', parks are the last thing on their minds. But the truth is, there are quite a lot of parks in Jakarta. One of the most known parks is Taman Suropati.

It's located in front of the Bappenas building. The park is such a contrast to Jakarta's usually busy life because it's so serene and peaceful.

There are pigeons flying around the area because there are a couple of birdhouses.

I also met this little guy when i was strolling around the park. There were a couple of guys with snakes and this huge lizard and there was another guy with a paper bag and kids were swarming him and he took this little white mouse out of the bag and I asked, "What's this for?" and he said it's for the snakes. N o n o nonono.

i wanted to bring it home but i have a cat??? p sure my cats gonna play with it and it'll eventually die

It was drizzling when we went there but it just added the atmosphere of earthiness. Pretty sure you wouldn't get a lot of that in Jakarta!
