Jakarta in Words and Photographs

This series of photographs will portray Jakarta in the eyes and words of our great friends Rizky Farras Sarosa and Alisha Aprilia. He captured the beauty  of Jakarta wonderfully with Jakarta and Alisha poured her heart out writing this poem about Jakarta. Jakarta is a beautiful city that we have known and loved and hated since forever. Jakarta is filled with business and is rarely associated with serenity or any kind of peace synonims, but Jakarta is in our hearts and eyes; it's in our blood, our cries, our laughs. We are too busy maintaining our life here, rather than enjoying it.

Jakarta, apa kau sudah lupa cara menikmati hidup? 

Waktu serasa lalu tanpa ragu

dan harapan tak lagi di tunggu

Apakah pengejawantahan tubuhmu dilupakan zaman?

Maka aku menatap langit

untuk melihat

yang fana
